Bristol Reclaim the Night 2010
Bristol Reclaim the Night 2010 took place on Friday 26 February. Supporters braved the sleet and rain to attend a vigil to remember those affected by sexual violence. At 6pm the drums sounded and we marched through the city to demonstrate our right to walk the streets in safety at night (route here).
The march ended at The Bridewell Island for speeches from Bristol Domestic Violence Forum, officers from operation Bluestone, the Safer Bristol Partnership and Josie from One25 which works with some of the most vulnerable women in Bristol. Funds raised on the night were donated to the Bristol Rape Crisis Centre.
The RTN2010 events were captured in this mini documentary by Jess Linington. Thank you to everyone who made this evening of events possible!
